In 2014, Ali teamed up with the legendary Los Angeles MC and community leader Bambu (AKA Chairman Bam of the might Beat Rock movement) as well as Minneapolis’ beloved MC and radio personality MaLLy for the Home Away From Home Tour. Keeping with the tradition of tour encore anthems, the three delivered this ode to the road.
The Home Away From Home Tour also marked the introduction of Last Word (of legendary Twin Cities DJ crew Get Cryphy) as Brother Ali’s tour DJ, eventually becoming his road manager and an integral part of Ali’s management team.
